Twelve of the 49 people arrested last week in connection with a massive Clark County marijuana bust pleaded not guilty Thursday to drug-related charges.

Trial for Say Tran, 55, Hoang Le, 29, and Billy Luu, 21, was set for Jan. 9. Trial for Minh Le, 55, and Dustin Nguyen, 27, was set for Jan. 11. Trial for Jennifer Chinh, 34, and Sinh Ngo, 61, was set for Dec. 12.

Trial for Quat Nguyen, 49, was set for Dec. 7; Dec. 5 for Suu Le, 50; Dec. 19 for Dwight Naipo, 29; and Jan. 8 for David Tran, 19. All trial dates are subject to postponement.

Most defendants are charged with manufacture of marijuana or possession with intent to deliver.

Their arrests came as a result of Operation Gang Green on Oct. 13, an investigation by the Clark-Skamania Drug Task Force that netted about 6,800 marijuana plants following raids on 56 Clark County locations. About 300 police officers were involved.

The rest of the defendants will be arraigned Oct. 28. Thursday’s arraignments were to accommodate attorneys who are unable appear for the Oct. 28 hearing.
