Welcome to the first "Inside the Huddle" feature. We're asking local high school football players what's on their mind each week throughout the season. We hope it turns into a fun feature that lets you get to know the athletes you're cheering on away from the field.
The first question:
What did you do this summer?
Ryan Johnson (senior, defensive line/tight end, Mountain View High School): "This summer I spent most of my time playing baseball for the Vancouver cardinals. I also went to a lot of football camps and combines."
Tyler Bergeron (senior, wide receiver/running back/cornerback/quarterback, Battle Ground High School):"I did many fun things this summer, but the thing i enjoyed most was working out with my team and going to all of the different local camps."
