Police find man shot following knife fight

BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — Police in Beaverton are investigating a fight that ended with one man shot and another being treated for deep knife wounds on his hands.

Officers responded late Friday to reports of two men fighting with a knife at a convenience store. They found a machete and a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen. The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/qlkoH7) that his condition was unknown.

Less than an hour later, they found a 17-year-old boy who they say was also involved in the fight. The teen was taken from an apartment complex to a hospital for treatment of knife wounds.

No arrests have been made.
