INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts have signed five players to their practice squad, claimed running back Chris Gronkowski from waivers and put running back Chad Spann on injured reserve.

Indy is bringing back five players it waived Saturday. Receivers David Gilreath and Marshall Williams, defensive tackles Ricardo Mathews and Ollie Ogbu, offensive tackle Mike Tepper all were re-signed Sunday.

Spann, who played high school ball in Indy, made the 53-man roster but now will miss the rest of the season. The team has not said what injury Spann sustained.

Dallas waived Gronkowski, who played in 14 games last season and had five carries for 17 yards. He also caught seven passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Indy still has room for three more players on the practice squad.
