Man severely burned in Portland house fire

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland firefighters say a Portland man was severely burned in a house fire.
The man, who was not identified, was standing outside the house Sunday evening when fire crews arrived. He was taken to the Oregon Burn Center, and the burns were described as life-threatening.
Fire crews said the house was destroyed.
