Bolts sell enough tickets to lift blackout

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers say enough tickets have been sold to lift the local TV blackout for their home opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Last year, three of the Bolts’ first four home games were blacked out, including their first two. That snapped a string of 48 straight sellouts, playoffs included, for Southern California’s only NFL team.

The Chargers are expected to do better than last year, when they finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs for the first time in five seasons.
