BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Joey Orlando caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Kevin Decker in overtime to give New Hampshire a 48-41 win over Lehigh on Saturday.
It was Orlando’s second touchdown catch of the game, as he went over 1,000 all-purpose yards for his career. Needing 11 coming in, Orlando gained 166 yards on 10 catches and 54 more on two punt returns, including a 56-yarder for a touchdown. The son of NFL safety Bo Orlando, he tied career highs with 10 catches and two receiving touchdowns — both set against the Mountain Hawks last season.
The Wildcats (1-1), which beat Lehigh for the 10th straight time, led 38-20 after Decker’s 12-yard TD pass to R.J. Harris early in the third quarter.
Lehigh (1-1) fought back with three touchdown passes by Chris Lum. Lum’s final TD came on an 11-yard pass to Jake Drwal to make it 41-38 with 4:35 left in regulation.
