Sabres owner, players hand deliver season tickets

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — In yet another marketing move aimed to make the Buffalo Sabres the toast of the NHL, owner Terry Pegula and several of his players personally delivered some season tickets to fans on Wednesday.

It’s all part of the Sabres’ objective to revive their brand and continue turning Buffalo into Hockeytown Western New York, or “Pegulaville” as the fans have started to refer to it.

Pegula is the Pennsylvania billionaire who bought the team in February after making his fortune in drilling for natural gas, and who is now in the process of putting his money where his passion is: Hockey.
