MONTREAL (AP) — Jean Pascal may get a third fight with WBC champion Bernard Hopkins after all.
Promoter Yvon Michel said Tuesday that when a proposed bout with IBF champion Tavoris Cloud fell through, HBO told him Pascal would fight either Hopkins or Chad Dawson some time in 2012.
Hopkins and Dawson are schedule to fight on Oct. 15 in Los Angeles.
Pascal, of Montreal, kept his title in a majority draw in his first meeting with Hopkins and lost the belt in the rematch.
