KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) — What may be the last full-service gas station in the Tri-Cities is closing.
After 14 years of washing windshields, checking engine oil and tires, Mike Henderson is hanging up the gas nozzle at Mike’s Exxon in Kennewick.
Henderson told the Tri-City Herald (http://bit.ly/pirVJw ) it was the full service with a smile that kept customers coming back.
At 62 he says he’s ready to retire from working seven days a week.
