Letter: Gun classifications are important
Wednesday, September 28, 2011
I have sat here and have read a few stories about people with guns doing stuff, and most of the time, the weapons are getting classified as things they are not. An SKS is considered a “semi-automatic rifle” not an “assault rifle,” which by calling it an “assault rifle” is just making it sound even worse then it is. And I am just tired of seeing things like that.
Also I would like to see a little more effort being put into investigating if the weapons being used have been legally or illegally obtained for these crimes people are doing.
