BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (AP) -- Clark County divers are returning Friday to a pond at a Battle Ground gravel pit where an equipment operator is feared dead.
Clark County Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Max Konkright says divers who worked late Thursday night could not find the 74-year-old operator of a front-end loader.
After the man failed to return home from work, the loader was found in the water.
Konkright says it's a long, narrow pond with water about 10 feet deep.
