BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (AP) — Clark County divers worked late Thursday night in a pond at a Battle Ground gravel pit where an equipment operator is feared dead.
The Columbian reports (http://bit.ly/oC9KLL ) officials started searching for the 74-year-old operator of a front-end loader after he failed to return home from work.
The loader was found submerged in the water.
