SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A man struggling in the Spokane River early Friday near the Gonzaga University campus was lucky some ROTC students were nearby.
KHQ reports (http://on.msnbc.com/niTmWg ) they heard him yelling for help about 5:35 a.m.
They pulled him from the river onto a platform. He was taken to a hospital.
