KENT, Wash. (AP) — A 17-year-old boy accused of stabbing a 17-year-old girl to death in Tukwila pleaded not guilty Monday in King County Superior Court in Kent to a second-degree murder charge.

Kolby Clark of Tukwila is being prosecuted as an adult. He’ll face up to 20 years in prison if convicted in the March 17 death of Jasmyn Tully of SeaTac.

KOMO Radio reports Clark told police he freaked out after smoking synthetic marijuana and wanted to hurt somebody.
