BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — A barge with a crane moved into place Tuesday at the Bellingham marina where officials believe two people died when their boat burned and sank.
A spokesman for responders, Mark Young of Bellingham police, says it probably will start work Wednesday moving debris so they can reach the boat where Jim Langei (LAN’-jee) and Sterling Taylor lived.
Their 42-foot boat was one of the boats destroyed in Friday’s boathouse fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
