Firefighters and sheriff's deputies responded to two wrecks this afternoon within minutes of each other near Hockinson High School.
The first crash, involving two cars, occurred just before 4 p.m. in front the high school along Northeast 159th Street. It blocked a portion of the roadway.
No one was injured in that crash, fire officials said.
The second crash happened within a mile of the school, on Northeast 172nd Avenue. A driver jumped a curb and his vehicle hit a pole and a tree, said Clark County sheriff's Sgt. Fred Neiman.
The man was conscious and taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital with injuries, Neiman said. The male's name or condition weren't immediately available.
