SEATTLE (AP) — A stockbroker from Bellevue has been sentenced to more than 4 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal allegations that he defrauded 10 clients out of as much as $7 million.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Seattle says 32-year-old Richard A. Finger Jr. was the owner and operator of Black Diamond Capital Management and Black Diamond Securities of Kirkland. He lied to clients about how much money in their accounts, which he was using to make bad trades and plundering for his own purposes. He took hundreds of thousands of dollars from the accounts, then used the money for credit card bills, food, entertainment and business expenses.

He leased a $71,000 Cadillac Escalade and a $13,000 Ducati motorcycle.

Finger was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Seattle. He is expected to be ordered to pay back the money.
