HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner jet flew over the famed 18th lighthouse hole at Harbour Town Golf Links to showcase one of the tournament’s new sponsors..

Boeing is the presenting sponsor of the RBC Heritage and showed off the aircraft Friday that will roll off its South Carolina plant this month. Boeing has done fly-overs at its Champions Tour event, the Boing Classic in Snoqualmie, Washington.

The aircraft passed over as John Rollins, Nick O’Hern and Hank Kuehne were in the fairway finishing the second round. The Dreamliner came in over the tee box about 1,000 feet off the ground and banked right along the fairway turning out past the red-and-white striped lighthouse behind the green.

Boeing’s Jack Jones said the first aircraft produced in the state will roll out April 27.
