PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The website for the Gresham-Barlow Education Association says teachers are now on strike.
The union said it would strike at 6 a.m. Wednesday if no agreement was reached with the district.
The district east of Portland had already canceled classes for Wednesday because of the strike threat.
Issues include salary, preparation time and what the union describes as teacher safety concerns.
