Man wanted in Oregon arrested in Kelso

KELSO, Wash. (AP) — A man facing sex abuse charges in Clatsop County, Ore., was arrested after a police chase and crash in Kelso.

Police say 36-year-old Silas Eastman speed off Tuesday evening as officers responded to a report of an attempted car theft.

KLOG reports the driver crashed the car, tried to force his way into a home and resisted officers who used a Taser several times to take him into custody. He was booked into jail under the name of a Kelso man, but police determined it was Eastman who had been wanted since November on a fugitive warrant.
