ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) — New Colts coach Chuck Pagano got a reminder Friday of life as an assistant coach.

Pagano filled in for safeties coach Roy Anderson, who left training camp because of a death in the family. Pagano did not say when Anderson would be back.

Anderson is one of two coaches Pagano brought with him to Indianapolis from Baltimore, where Pagano spent four seasons as an assistant — the last as defensive coordinator.

Pagano wasn’t the only one getting accustomed to a new spot at camp.

Linebackers Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd made it onto the field for the second half of the afternoon practice. Both were acquired in a trade with Philadelphia on Thursday night. But they couldn’t practice until former Colts cornerback Kevin Thomas passed his physical in Philadelphia.
