Retail clothing boutique Forever 21 has expanded its store at Westfield Vancouver mall and plans to host a grand re-opening Sept. 1 with free gifts and prizes at its enlarged ground-floor store between Sears and Nordstrom.

The young men’s and women’s apparel store has increased its Vancouver footprint to 11,400 square feet from about 7,500 square feet, according to Chris Yates, the mall’s marketing director. He said the expansion is part of a regional trend for Los Angeles-based Forever 21, which has also enlarged its store at Clackamas Town Center in Happy Valley, Ore.
