Letter: Clear politics of corporate influence

Bill Gross, President of Pimco Investments (The Total Return Fund), who happens to be a Republican, stated on CNBC that both Democrat and Republican sides “are subject to money and super PACs, it’s a government of the super PAC for the super PAC. Let’s get Big Money out of our government.”

As a Democrat, in this case, I totally agree with a Republican. This has totally gotten out of control. We as citizens and voters need to send a strong message that this will no longer be tolerated by both sides of the aisle.

Shame on the Supreme Court for ending government of the people, for the people and by the people. Some say big corporations and the very wealthy have a right to make a political statement — yes, they do, but not at the expense of the average citizen.
