Vancouver-based Thompson Metal Fab Inc. will receive an award from the Washington Employment Security Department honoring its commitment to and record of hiring military veterans.
Employment Security Commissioner Paul Trause will present the award to the company Thursday at an event from 2 to 3 p.m. in the company’s receiving bay No. 12 at 3000 S.E. Hidden Way (Building 40).
The event will include a tour of the Thompson Metal Fab facility.
Thompson is a custom and industrial metal fabricator that builds products for the oil and gas, marine and hydro, renewable energy and high-tech sectors.
