Letter: Stop arguing and do job required

The Columbian

The world of politicians seems like something out of Alice in Wonderland. The Left seems to be saying that you can only take money out of the taxpayers’ pockets using the left hand, meaning tax rate increases. The Right disagrees and believes that the right hand is the only acceptable way to take money out of the taxpayer’s pocket, meaning fewer deductions.

I am a taxpayer with only one pocket and I fail to see the difference. If they have to take more money from my pocket, then get on with it and stop quibbling over who has the superior hand.
