Search for mushroom picker suspended

Crews in Skamania County suspended the search for a 60-year-old woman who has been missing since she went looking for mushrooms Dec. 1.
Gail Wietrick of Trout Lake was last seen on that afternoon when she left Little Rock Creek Road about four miles northwest of Mill A in south-central Skamania County. The group she was with was unable to find her by 3 p.m. Sunday and notified the sheriff’s office, Undersheriff Dave Cox said.
Cox on Monday said that crews had suspended the search Thursday night.
