Clark County homebuilding activity continued its upswing in November, sending recovery signals for the 11th month in a row, according to a report issued Tuesday.
Permits were issued to build 40 single-family houses in unincorporated parts of the county last month. The permits are valued at $15.9 million, compared to 27 permits valued at $8.8 million in the same month last year, the Clark County Community Development Department reported.
November’s 40 permits were down from 54 in October. The 503 permits issued in the first 11 months of 2012 represented a 55.7 percent increase over the 323 during the same period in 2011.
