RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks will be without starting cornerback Walter Thurmond against the Buffalo Bills in Toronto on Sunday.
Thurmond injured his hamstring during practice Wednesday and has been officially ruled out. The Seahawks will be forced to start their third cornerback in as many weeks against the Bills. Either Byron Maxwell or rookie Jeremy Lane will start, with both expected to play extensively.
Wide receiver Sidney Rice returned to practice Friday after missing the first two days of practice this week with a bruised foot. Rice is expected to play Sunday.
Safety Kam Chancellor and defensive end Red Bryant were full participants in practice and are listed as probable. Running back Marshawn Lynch was limited with back and foot injuries but is also expected to play against the Bills.
