Saint Louis defeats UT-Martin 73-51

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jordair Jett scored 17 points and Mike McCall Jr. added 14 to lead Saint Louis to a 73-51 victory against Tennessee-Martin on Saturday night.

The Billikens (6-3), who won their third straight, shot 58.6 percent (17 of 29) from the floor in the first half en route to a 45-28 lead at the break.

Myles Taylor scored 20 points for the Skyhawks (3-8).

Mike Liabo’s 3-pointer with 3:34 remaining in the first half made the score 35-25 and put UT-Martin in position to be within striking distance at the break. But as the Skyhawks turned the ball over on their next three possessions, Jake Barnett hit a 3-pointer and John Manning had a three-point play to highlight eight consecutive points by Saint Louis.

The Billikens enjoyed a 39-32 rebounding advantage and outscored UT-Martin 40-16 in the paint.
