WASHOUGAL — Today is the last day the Two Rivers Heritage Museum in Washougal will be open before taking a seven-week break. The museum, 1 Durgan St., will reopen at 11 a.m. Feb. 5.

“During the shutdown, we will reorganize exhibits and do maintenance,” said Alma Ladd, vice president of the Camas-Washougal Historical Society’s board of directors. “We did this last year for the first time.”

In addition to providing a chance to do some extensive cleaning and maintenance, “It’s hard to get (volunteers) to work around the holidays,” she said.

The museum’s regular hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
