Amfit purchases industrial building off St. Johns

Vancouver orthotics manufacturer Amfit Inc. has purchased for $2.2 million an industrial building on 5 acres east of Northeast St. Johns Road on the south side of 68th Street.

The buyer was represented by William Connelly, a broker with Eric Fuller & Associates. Dave Brown, a commercial real estate broker with Columbia Commercial Properties, represented sellers of the building, which is at 3611 N.E. 68th St. Amfit’s headquarters are at 5408 N.E. 88th St., Suite D-406.

The company was founded in California and moved to Clark County more than a decade ago. It makes custom shoe insoles and diagnostic equipment, such as machines that pneumatically measure a patient’s foot, and turn the measurements into computerized information for precise orthotic fittings.
