Air museum’s Tuskegee display to feature models, other artifacts
Hudson’s Bay -- The Tuskegee Airmen display was recently unveiled at Pearson Air Museum to recognize the service performed by the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II.
This display case, sponsored by Norris Hibbler from Vancouver-based Aircraft & Marine Assurance Agency Inc., includes reader boards on the accomplishments of the famous airmen featured in the newly released George Lucas film, “Red Tails,” and a Tuskegee Airmen jacket, model airplanes, pictures, maps and the list of medals awarded to the African-American pilots of 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
