Boys basketball: La Center 65, White Salmon 40

Matt Braaten scored 11 points in the first quarter while Wyatt Aguirre had nine, helping the Wildcats to a 22-4 lead.

Levi Van Tol finished with seven points, eight rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals for La Center, which led 59-23 through three quarters.

Braaten had a game-high 18 points, along with four steals.
