SEATTLE (AP) — A Snohomish, Wash., man has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and reckless driving in an alcohol-related crash that killed a Google employee.
King County prosecutors say 56-year-old Patrick Rexroat entered his pleas Thursday. He faces a maximum four years in prison at sentencing set for March 9.
County prosecutors say Rexroat was chasing another car and had a blood alcohol content of 0.29 percent last July 24 when his car collided with a car not involved in the chase, killing Steve Lacey of Kirkland.
Lacey was a 43-year-old father of two.
The legal intoxication threshold in Washington is 0.08 percent.
