DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — JP Kuhlman scored 14 points and Davidson took control early in a 76-54 Southern Conference win over Wofford on Monday night, sweeping the season series.
Tied at 9 with 14:04 to go in the first half, the Wildcats (18-5, 12-1), went on a 19-2 run to lead 28-11 at the 3:30 mark.
Kuhlman scored 12 of his points in the second half as Davidson led by as many as 27.
The Wildcats, who rank third in the nation in team free-throw percentage (79.1 percent), were 13 of 16 (81.3 percent) while Wofford (15-10, 8-5) was 0 for 1.
