Letter: Hockinson urged to vote ‘yes’

The Columbian
Published: February 6, 2012, 4:00pm

Hockinson School District is asking voters to pass a replacement maintenance and operating levy. With state and federal tax money being cut continually from education, it is imperative for the future of our children to pass this levy to insure the continuation of a quality education.

I urge voters to mail your ballots by Feb. 14th so that your vote counts. Yes, every vote is very important and exercising the right to vote is one of the many freedoms we have as American citizens. Please vote “yes” for Hockinson schools on February 14.
