NEW YORK (AP) — Free-agent pitcher Rolman Candelario has been suspended 50 games for a positive drug test.

The 19-year-old right-hander was penalized Wednesday under baseball’s minor league program for testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension will start when he signs with a big league organization.

He had signed with Colorado in late September, and his contract was voided before he played in any games.

Eleven players have been suspended this year under the minor league program.
