BEND, Ore. (AP) — Deschutes County deputies and Forest Service rangers helped rescue a snowmobiler who hit a tree while highmarking at Moon Mountain.
KTVZ reports (http://is.gd/YNupKA ) they lowered the 46-year-old Sherwood man to the base of Moon Mountain Sunday evening so he could be airlifted to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. He’s expected to survive.
