SEABECK, Wash. (AP) — A Kitsap County sheriff’s spokesman says a park ranger died Friday night in a two-car collision near Seabeck, Wash.

Sgt. Ken Dickinson says the 44-year-old ranger was apparently driving home from work when a car crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle head-on.

The Washington State Patrol says the driver of the vehicle that crossed the line has been arrested for investigation of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Dickinson says that driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries.

The identities of those involved were not immediately available.
