SEATTLE (AP) — The King County prosecutor’s office says it’s aware that a Seattle police officer was arrested early Thursday in a drug case.
Spokesman Dan Donohoe says Richard F. Nelson was booked into jail and released without bail. He says the case has not yet been referred to prosecutors.
The Seattle Times reports (http://is.gd/h7EJNX ) the 50-year-old Nelson joined the police department in 1990 and works in patrol operations in the South Precinct.
