USA Football adds Ohio businessman to board

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Ohio businessman Mike Wilcox is joining USA Football’s board of directors.

The former college hockey player also was a three-time All-American in lacrosse at Bowling Green. Wilcox also has been chairman of the board of trustees at Bowling Green and runs Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sports Management.

He is the 16th member of the board, joining a lineup that includes NFL commissioner Roger Goodell; former NFL players Merrill Hoge, Desmond Howard and Jason Belser; DeMaurice Smith and Carl Francis from the NFL Players Association; former NFL executive Carl Peterson and Grant Teaff, executive director of the American Football Coaches Association.

USA Football, based in Indianapolis, offers education for coaches and game officials, skill development for players, resources for youth football leagues and manages America’s national teams.
