HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — A man known as “Moss man” after he was arrested in a moss-like camouflage suit was sentenced to 16 months in prison for breaking into the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals at Hillsboro.

The 37-year-old Portland man, Gregory Liascos, pleaded guilty to burglary charges and was sent to prison Tuesday by a Washington County Circuit Court judge.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/bECdNd ) investigators determined that Liascos cut into a restroom in October 2010 in an attempt to enter the museum.

It took a tracking dog to find Liascos because of he was hiding outside in the camouflage suit.
