SEATTLE (AP) — The Western Washington lowlands could see their first snow showers of the winter this weekend.
The National Weather Service says a cold front moving through the Northwest on Saturday will likely leave scattered snow showers into Sunday. Forecasters say snow will be spotty and light in Western Washington with more in the mountains and some accumulations in the valleys of Eastern Washington.
The incoming storm system will clear out stagnant air that has led to burns bans this week in some Puget Sound counties.
