Driver killed in Portland rear-end crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- One driver was killed in a rear-end collision Thursday night in Portland.
Police say the dead man was driving the car that rear-ended the other car on McLoughlin Boulevard and then hit a tree. A passenger in his car was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
The driver of the other car was treated at the scene.
