Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 56, King’s Way Christian 55

D.K. Lee’s only points of the game handed King’s Way Christian its first league loss of the season.

Lee was true with a 3-pointer with four seconds remaining to give the Cougars the win.

“Everybody had a piece of this pie,” Seton coach Jon Schroeder said. “This was big for our schoo and big for our athletic program.”

Evan Simms and Conor McDaid-O’Neill each scored 19 points for the Cougars. Simms also had five steals, and McDaid-O’Neill grabbed eight rebounds.

C.J. Strong led the Cougars with nine rebounds.

David Velkemp and Christian Bukant each scored 16 for King’s Way.
