YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Blake Allen led four Youngstown State players in double figures with 16 points, and the Penguins defeated Green Bay 77-47 on Sunday.

Kendrick Perry added 15 points and DuShawn Brooks and Ashen Ward had 12 each for Youngstown State, which snapped a five-game losing streak against Green Bay. It’s the quickest the Penguins (11-8, 6-3 Horizon League) have reached 11 wins since the 2000-01 squad got off to an 11-7 start.

Youngstown State shot 50 percent from 3-point range (12 of 24) and 46.6 percent from the field (27 of 58), while limiting Green Bay’s offense. The Penguins forced 16 turnovers, tallying 13 steals, and held the Phoenix (7-12, 3-6) to 39.2-percent shooting (20 of 51), and just 2 of 9 from 3-point range.

Youngstown State scored 18 points off turnovers, Green Bay none.

Alec Brown was Green Bay’s only scorer in double figures with 10 points.
