Man arrested in Mukilteo ferry bomb scare

MUKILTEO, Wash. (AP) -- The Washington State Patrol has arrested a man involved in a bomb scare on board a ferry at Mukilteo.
Trooper Keith Leary told The Daily Herald (http://is.gd/EtNTd1 ) the man board the ferry Cathlamet Thursday morning at Clinton. He dropped a backpack from the upper deck to the lower deck and said something that led officials to believe there was a bomb inside.
The state patrol's bomb squad was called to sweep the ferry and investigate the backpack.
