County home sales increased in June

CLARK COUNTY — Clark County home sales inched higher in June, compared with the previous month, according to a report Friday.
The demand also raised prices. The median sales price was $194,200 in June for houses sold by licensed real estate agents, according to RMLS, a Portland-based listing service. It was up 7.9 percent from $180,000 in June 2011.
Sales closed in June grew just 1.9 percent to 482 homes in the county, up from 473 home sales closed in May. The supply of listings dropped to 5.4 months of inventory, down 17.1 percent from the same month last year and down 9.6 percent from the previous month.
