The Greater Brush Prairie Neighborhood Association will sponsor a forum for Clark County commissioner candidates, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hockinson Fire Station, 17718 N.E. 159th St.

Candidates from districts 1 and 2 have been invited.

District 1 candidates are Ron Barca, Bob Freund, Joe Tanner, Darren Wertz and the incumbent, Tom Mielke. District 2 candidates are Roman Battan, Pat Campbell, David Madore and the incumbent, Marc Boldt.

Questions for the candidates have been prepared, but additional questions will be taken from the audience.

The forum will be moderated by Brush Prairie resident Mark Gawecki. Neighborhood Association President Rob Pearson said residents are interested in hearing candidates’ ideas for maintaining their rural quality of life, and topics will include annexation, land development and jobs.
