KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Seattle Mariners have recalled right-hander Blake Beaven from Triple-A Tacoma.
Beaven, who was 3-6 with a 5.92 ERA in 12 starts with the Mariners earlier this season, will start Tuesday night against the Kansas City Royals.
Beaven went 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA in six starts with Tacoma after being optioned June 13.
The Mariners optioned right-hander Steve Delabar to Tacoma. Delabar is 2-1 with a 4.18 ERA in 30 relief appearances in three stints with Seattle.
